About The Position

The selected individual is required to teach in person, on multiple days, at our main campuses, learning or satellite centers during the morning, afternoon and evening. Develop course syllabi and materials. Evaluate mastery of student, program, and institutional learning outcomes. Participate in the development of formative and summative assessments and assessment instruments. Maintain office hours to provide student advisement, participate in recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development. Participate in School, Department, and Program meetings and activities. Other duties as assigned by Chair for needs of the office, division, and institution.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Administration of Justice from an accredited college/university.
  • Five (5) years of full-time practitioner experience in the criminal justice profession.
  • Practitioner experience within the last eight (8) years.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of two years’ full-time teaching experience at the college level in the criminal justice discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing curriculum, assessment plans, formative and summative assessments, assessment instruments, and conducting analysis of course and program assessment.
  • Practitioner experience within the last five (5) years.
