Instrumentation and Combustion Technician
About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of instrumentation and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Calibrates, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots instrumentation and furnace equipment for manufacturing plants to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-3 years of related experience. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- 0-3 years of related experience.
- Ability to set up laboratory and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of electricity and circuitry.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and other information in order to complete calibration procedures.
