About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an insurance agency intern. This role offers hands-on experience in the daily operations of a fast-paced, and rapidly growing, agency. You will gain exposure to industry-leading tools, learn the fundamentals of risk management, and contribute to projects that drive agency growth.

Requirements

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Etc)
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive "self-starter" attitude.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive client information with the highest level of discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Assistance: Support team members with daily tasks such as data entry, document management, and policy checks.
• Shadowing and training: Observe experienced account managers and sales advisors during meetings, learn about various insurance products (Property & Casualty, Commercial, Life & Health).
• Become proficient with agency management software.
• Complete Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned to you by your manager/supervisor
• Client Engagement: Greet clients warmly and help ensure outstanding service.
