Lifespan Risk Services (LRS) is organized and operated for the purpose of coordinating insurance administrative, loss prevention and claims functions for Brown University Health. Under the supervision of the LRS Director of Insurance and Business Operations, position requires a variety of business and customer service duties to support LRS internal and external customers. Requires working with Director the Insurance Underwriting Coordinator (Coordinator) will develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of the Brown University Health’s self-insurance and commercial program and processes. Responsibilities include: working with internal and external customers to complete commercial insurance renewal applications; u working with medical physician group managers to accurately maintain clinical staff underwriting information in the LRS’ policy management system; coordinate and complete insurance certificates and claim history requests; provide LRS claims systems support; coordinate and maintain insurance records and files; assist the Sr. Business Analyst with daily cash reconciliations and other financial tracking and analysis support; and assist with a variety of other administrative support services.
