The Legal Services for Entrepreneurs (LSE) program focuses on serving wealth-creating enterprises in historically excluded low-income communities. LSE provides free legal services to: 1) low-income individuals or people historically deprived of civil rights who want to start a business, 2) businesses investing in economically distressed communities, including creating employment opportunities for immigrants and people with law enforcement records, and 3) “mom and pop shops” located in areas where gentrification causes displacement. The primary responsibilities include client intakes, placements, and referrals; data entry and integrity; and coordinating and administering client access.
