About The Position

Our Enteral Department is seeking a temporary Intake Specialist to support a high volume of incoming orders and ensure timely, accurate processing during a period of increased demand. This role is critical in maintaining smooth department operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients who rely on enteral supplies.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility available on start/end times)

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle high call volumes with accuracy and professionalism
• Reliability, organization, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to confirm their enteral supply needs
• Answer inbound calls and provide responsive, patient‑centered support
• Place outbound calls to coordinate and process supply reorders
• Assist with order intake, documentation, and workflow management to ensure timely processing
• Maintain accurate records, follow established procedures, and support compliance and quality standards
