About The Position

This position is for an experienced professional in Integrated Product Support Management (IPSM) discipline in the field of Program Business Management, who works independently, executes business plans, EV calculations, and data deliverables, assists in analysis of program metrics and estimates, monitors program's progress, collects data to support negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, coordinates customer action items, and maintains program templates, metrics, and presentation materials. The ideal candidate will have advanced to expert knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) work and will be responsible for managing a large program which may require solving difficult to complex program related problems. This is a fully onsite role located in Sterling, VA. This role is eligible for relocation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Current Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with project management, program management, or integrated product support.
  • Experience with the 12 Elements of Logistics.
  • Must have prior experience working with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with plan and budget enhancements, as well as communication planning.
  • Experience with product life cycle analysis and mechanical drawings and parts lists.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with the simulation industry.
  • Experience with service center process and procedures.
  • SAP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Executes business plans, Earned Value (EV) calculations and data deliverables for Program Management.
  • Analyzes program metrics and status to develop business plans and proposals.
  • Assists in developing accurate program estimates to monitor EV performance.
  • Plans and maintains repair and customer delivery schedules.
  • Monitors progress of program against plans, EV targets, and other metrics using control and reporting systems.
  • Manages EV calculations, planning, and data deliverables for all program phases from inception through completion.
  • Manages and completes all program IPS Deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs).
  • Collects data and analysis in support of the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes including coordinating preparations of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operating budgets, specifications and financial conditions of contracts.
  • Coordinates customer action item responses to meet customer program objectives.
  • Maintains program templates, metrics and presentation materials to ensure information on program status and performance is available for further analysis.
  • Required to oversee multiple programs and delegate work as needed.
