The Interconnections Associate Planning Engineer will assist with interconnection studies for offshore wind, energy storage, public policy transmission and other new clean energy technology projects. They will conduct substation power-flow and short circuit analyses, support identification of local and system upgrades to maintain reliable electric system operations. Additionally, they will support internal engineering activities, interface with NYISO and merchant developers, assess the impacts of new generation/transmission projects on the bulk electric system, assisting with development of recommended modifications for NYISO. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Mission Statement: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
