Intern, Analytical Chemistry
Position Summary:
Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm (10-12 week summer internship)
100% on-site
Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring an Intern, Analytical Chemistry. Under general supervision, performs work on assigned projects or tasks that may vary and be somewhat
challenging with limited responsibility. Follows established guidelines and work plans. May also assist scientists on varied projects. Comply with divisional and site Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Must be an undergraduate/graduate student in Cell Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field of study.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory work plans/schedules developed with input from a supervisor or senior team member.
• Techniques may vary depending on project or work plan assigned.
• Maintain accurate and laboratory documentation in accordance with regulatory guidance and Site SOPs
• Under direction, may draft technical documents such as methods
• Assists in execution of efficiency improvement projects with guidance
• Other duties as assigned
