About The Position
This position is based in Summerlin, Nevada. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and executive exposure. As the Business Intelligence Intern, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience supporting our commercial strategy analytics team. In this role, you will work with our team to craft data assets that will guide key business decisions and strategies and learn about the land-based gaming industry. If you are passionate about data, creativity, and collaboration, then this is the perfect role for you! The internship lasts 10 weeks and will start in early June and end in Mid-August. Candidates will be required to prepare and submit a project report at the end of the 10 weeks. The internship offers a flat per hour stipend capped at 40 hours per week and does not offer any other benefits or allowances. Candidates will be required to arrange their own housing and transport.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or something similar, entering Junior or Senior Year.
- Must be 21 years of age by June 1, 2026.
- Experience with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Introductory experience with any data tools, including SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Partner with analytics colleagues to collaborate with internal partners on data and analytics requests.
- Learn the foundational skills required to build dashboards in Tableau and queries in SQL.
- Iteratively develop and test data assets with guidance from senior team members.
- Contribute to analyses that are compiled into PowerPoint presentations.
- Establish relationships within the analytics and commercial strategy teams.
- Proactively communicate status to collaborators.
- Use the project management tool, Wrike, to track progress on work.
