About the Role: This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2026. Resume review begins February 2026. Biogen’s West Coast Hub Clinical Operations team is seeking a motivated Intern in our San Franscisco office to support timely execution and delivery of our critical initiatives and programs. The Operations team leads the planning, start-up and execution of all our clinical trials that are required to gain regulatory approval for new medications. We are committed to efficient execution of these trials so that we can get our new medications to patients in need as soon as possible. In this role, the intern will work closely with Clinical Trial Operations team members and cross-functional teams to successfully deliver ongoing clinical trials and critical business initiatives such as the implementation of our new resourcing model. The person selected for this opportunity will learn about various parts of the clinical trial process, how Biogen conducts clinical trials and will gain broad exposure to different roles / functions in the clinical operations landscape. This person will be an important part of our team and directly contribute to our team’s success in 2026. What You’ll Do: As an Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in several critical areas of the clinical operations landscape. These areas potentially include supporting our clinical trial delivery teams, learning the cross-functional interactions necessary for running clinical trials, vendor oversight activities and many other possible areas for exploration. Business need will drive the available opportunities at the time of internship and intern interest will help inform the identification of the final project. Potential project opportunities may include: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment on planning assumptions. Participate in planning meetings and contribute to cycle activities such as data cleaning, quality review, program acceleration, and reporting. To participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date. Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship. Education: Pursuing Degree in Preferred majors/programs: Biotechnology, Clinical Trials, Health Sciences, Other STEM-related programs Job Level: Internship Additional Information The base compensation range for this role is: $23.00-$33.00 The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
