Position Overview The Compliance Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to support the Department with day-to-day compliance responsibilities. The Internship will provide the intern with practical experience in healthcare compliance work, including work related to the Anti-Kickback Statute and various compliance monitoring initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional and interested in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, public policy and software development.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with Anti-Kickback Statute compliance related activities
- Tracking, reviewing and organizing supporting documentation
- Supporting analysis of engagements and documentation
- Supporting general compliance monitoring
- Assisting with periodic compliance audits and monitoring activities
- Maintaining compliance trackers, dashboards and documentation
- Helping prepare summaries, reports and presentations
- Conducting research related to healthcare regulations under the guidance of Compliance staff
- Providing administrative and organizational support to the Compliance Department as needed
