Intern - Corporate Treasury
About The Position
This 10 week internship provides a comprehensive, hands on introduction to the banking industry. Interns will engage with leaders across multiple areas of the business and gain exposure to core banking functions. Throughout the program, you will work on meaningful projects that deepen your understanding of daily bank operations and help you develop a diverse, practical skill set. You will receive guidance from experienced professionals, participate in team meetings, and build connections with interns and associates across the organization. By the conclusion of the internship, you will have gained valuable industry insight, established a strong foundation in banking practices, and positioned yourself for potential future opportunities at First Horizon. The intern will support and learn from members of the ALM Forecast/IRR Team, with responsibilities including: Conducting portfolio analytics and balanceâchange attribution supporting the monthly forecast process partnering with lines of business to gather balance targets, developing tools that enhance business insights and creating solutions that accurately capture forecast changes. Reviewing, documenting, and improving existing processes. Performing statistical analysis and documentation to support loan beta estimation
Requirements
- Full-time undergraduate student with anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- Strong interest in business and finance, though no specific major or field is required
- Resourcefulness, team-oriented, enthusiastic
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Demonstrated leadership and self-development (work or campus)
- Microsoft Office Suite
