Intern, Project Management Office The Project Management Office (PMO) Intern supports the PMO team in driving project execution, governance, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise project management practices while contributing meaningful work that supports strategic initiatives. The intern will assist with project tracking, reporting, documentation, and process improvement activities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and curious about how strategy translates into execution. They will bring a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to take initiative—embracing the PMO’s commitment to excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
  • Experience creating presentations or dashboards and using Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of process mapping or workflow design.
  • Complies with company ethics policies.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining project plans, schedules, and status updates.
  • Support portfolio tracking by collecting, organizing, and validating project data.
  • Help identify risks, issues, dependencies, and action items across projects.
  • Prepare and update dashboards, scorecards, and reports for PMO leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support data analysis related to project performance, milestones, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of project information across tools and reports.
  • Support PMO governance processes, including status reviews, intake, and documentation standards.
  • Assist with maintaining PMO templates, tools, and process documentation.
  • Help ensure projects follow established PMO standards and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings and capture meeting notes, decisions, and action items.
  • Collaborate with project managers, team members, and business partners across departments.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the PMO team.
  • Learn and apply project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Contribute ideas to improve PMO processes, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned.
