The Internship Experience Hasbro’s Summer Internship Program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a global play and entertainment company operates — paired with the opportunity to make a real impact. Interns are fully embedded on their teams and trusted to own meaningful business projects aligned to team priorities. Throughout the summer, you’ll contribute to work that matters while also being part of a broader global intern cohort, gaining exposure to professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership engagement designed to support your growth and learning. Requirements

  • Demonstrated talent for creative writing, storytelling, and narrative design.
  • Solid technical writing and editorial skills, including grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adjust quickly, adapt to change, and collaborate in a lively creative environment.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time/project management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a motivation to learn.
  • A genuine love of games.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm themes, stories, encounters, and discrete game design elements to drive narrative-based gameplay experiences for the world's greatest roleplaying game.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers to develop, test, and refine design elements, then craft accurate, accessible game rules and reference materials.
  • Contribute to design documentation and research.
  • Write compelling, fun game content—such as magic items, monsters, and spells.
  • Participate as an active, creative member of a cross-functional team, contributing ideas in brainstorms, playtests, and meetings alongside artists, designers, editors, and producers.
  • Embrace surprises, ask questions freely, have fun, and of course play lots of games!
