Job Purpose This position will support our Enterprise Data Engineering team as a Summer Intern from June 2026 – August 2026 and will be based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full‑time internship. During this internship, you will gain hands‑on exposure to how enterprise data is ingested, transformed, and prepared for analytics and reporting. You will work alongside experienced data engineers to learn how data pipelines and models are built and maintained, and how high‑quality, reliable data helps support business decision‑making across the organization. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Work with the Enterprise Data Engineering team to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data from a variety of enterprise systems and external sources Learn how modern data pipelines are built using tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and cloud services on AWS and Azure, and how data progresses through different layers to become analytics‑ready Assist with building and validating dimensional data models (e.g., fact and dimension tables) to support reporting, dashboards, and analytics use cases Participate in implementing basic data quality checks and validations to help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to understand data requirements and how technical solutions support business needs Learn how data flows are documented, including transformations, metadata, and business rules, to support transparency and shared understanding across teams Gain exposure to data governance, security, and compliance concepts and how they are applied in an enterprise data environment Engage with team members through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge‑sharing sessions to support learning and professional growth Connect and grow your skills in a dynamic, engaging environment Work alongside and be coached by members of your team Engage with leaders across the company What do I need to be successful?
