Department The Event Development team is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the execution of UFC live events from concept through delivery. This department works cross-functionally with operations, production, marketing, and venue partners to help ensure events meet organizational standards and deliver a high-quality fan experience. By supporting market research, promotional planning, and event execution, the team plays a key role in driving attendance and overall event success. Their work directly supports the UFC’s live event strategy and business growth.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field such as Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a similar discipline, or within six months of graduation; Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organizing, formatting, and maintaining event schedules.
  • Conduct research on competitive events and live entertainment markets in cities where UFC events are held.
  • Assist with preparation for meetings with current and prospective on-sale marketing and area partners.
  • Support the creation and organization of presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with activating Street Team initiatives and in-market promotional efforts.
  • Compile research on potential event markets, including demographics, competitive landscape, and local trends.
  • Brainstorm creative ideas to support ticket sales and event promotion.
  • Assist with creating event recap summaries, including ticket sales performance, executed promotions, marketing tactics, and in-market activations.
  • Research trends in sports, live events, and related marketing strategies.
  • Support the Event Development team on various projects and initiatives as needed.
