Primary Duties & Responsibilities Document current test wafer processing flows used throughout the semiconductor fabrication facility. Work with process engineers and technicians to understand paper traveler workflows and process steps. Translate documented workflows into digital routes within the Camstar MES system. Assist with validation and testing of new MES workflows to ensure accuracy and usability. Help develop standardized documentation and process flow diagrams for test wafer usage. Support efforts to improve traceability and tracking of test wafer utilization. Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and data collection within MES. Education & Experience Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date. Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field. Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in Industrial Engineering is a plus. Skills & Other Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication. Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed. Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and time management. Comfortable working in both office and cleanroom environments. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word) and computer use in general. Additional Information Internship Duration: 10 – 14 weeks. Working Conditions This role will be based on-site in Sherman Texas Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary. Will be exposed to areas where hazardous chemicals or gases are stored Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirements Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings. Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.) Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids) Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
