Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency with Python (e.g., scripting, data manipulation, hardware communication).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow test procedures and document results clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Automation & Test Streamlining
  • Develop and refine Python scripts to automate failure verification test processes.
  • Improve test efficiency by creating tools for data parsing, reporting, and workflow standardization.
  • Document code, test procedures, and results to ensure maintainability and repeatability.
  • Failure Verification & Analysis
  • Perform basic failure verification testing on optical transceivers, including electrical and optical performance checks.
  • Assist engineers in root‑cause identification by collecting test data, performing preliminary analysis, and summarizing findings.
  • Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, optical power meters, BERTs, and temperature chambers (training provided).
  • Maintain accurate logs of failures, test results, and observations.
