Internship 2026 Dates: June1, 2026 – August 14, 2026 As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. We partner with clients to design and validate antibody‑based methods, primarily using ELISA, to support the evaluation of drug candidates entering the market. Our scientists collaborate daily with project managers, lead scientists, study coordinators, and quality teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables aligned with GLP/GCP requirements and FDA guidance. Our intern will support the transition of our current 96‑well ELISA format to a 384‑well format, increasing analyst throughput by up to fourfold and significantly improving cost efficiency and productivity. This role will involve daily data review, experimental planning with the manager and supervisor, and hands‑on work with key laboratory instrumentation, including plate washers, absorbance readers, the Hamilton STAR, and plate shakers. In addition to laboratory responsibilities, the intern will participate in a series of speaker sessions and internship events designed to enhance professional development, soft skills, and networking.

Requirements

  • Working towards a BS in Chemistry, Biology, or other science
  • Has worked in at least 2 to 3 labs in school or outside of school
  • Experience with documenting experimental work in lab in lab notebook
  • Experience working with others on lab experiments
  • Experience plotting and evaluating data on an x vs y graph
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Transition 96-well format ELISA to 384-well format
  • Analyze experiment data and plan daily experiments
  • Provide detailed experiment log with insights into future work and applicability
