About The Position

A temporary, fixed-term professional development opportunity within the Security function. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the organization’s information security, risk management, and operational security initiatives while contributing to business unit objectives. This is a temporary position with a predetermined end date. Weekly hours, total duration, business unit assignment, and specific responsibilities will be detailed in the Offer Letter.

Requirements

• Interest in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or related fields.
• Basic analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with standard business and productivity software.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, or security concepts preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn security practices, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Security team with tasks related to information security operations, risk management, and compliance activities as outlined in the Offer Letter.
• Assist in monitoring security alerts, logs, and system activity under supervision.
• Support security documentation efforts, including policies, procedures, and control tracking.
• Assist with vulnerability tracking, remediation follow-up, and security assessments.
• Participate in security awareness initiatives, research activities, and process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with team members on security projects and operational initiatives.
• Assist with operational workflows and administrative functions to maintain security program efficiency.
• Learn and apply security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management concepts in a real-world environment.
