Intern, Inventory Planning and Replenishment
About The Position
Looking to turn classroom learning into real-world experience? The Home Depot Canada Internship/Co-op Program is your chance to apply what you’ve studied in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Over 16 weeks, you’ll work on projects that make a real impact, sharpen your skills, and build confidence for your future career. As an Inventory Planning & Replenishment Intern, you will support the transition to a new inventory forecasting environment by assisting analysts with replenishment and forecasting tasks. You’ll help define and implement new processes, test system accuracy, and report on performance metrics. Additionally, you’ll contribute to ad-hoc initiatives aimed at improving online in-stock metrics, gaining hands-on experience with inventory management tools and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering, Supply-Chain, or Business Administration preferred
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Prior knowledge in SAP would be an asset
- Strong Analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate pertinent information from various sources
- Strong communication skills and the ability to disseminate and summarize information in verbal and written formats
- The successful student will be currently enrolled in a Canadian accredited university or college throughout the period of the Internship/Co-op program.
- In addition, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid study/work permit.
Nice To Haves
- Prior knowledge in SAP would be an asset
