About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated IT Support Specialist Intern to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and maintenance for a variety of software applications, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. The IT Support Specialist Intern will work with end-users, vendor SPOCs, developers, and other IT staff to troubleshoot issues, maintain credentials, and implement enhancements. This person will also be responsible for collaborating with the people services team, hiring managers, and procurement/IT to ensure new hires are processed into the company accurately and get their needed tools for their respective jobs.

  • Creating and resetting passwords for O365 environment.
  • Familiar with/ preferably knowledgeable of computers and office IT hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile phones, printers, copiers and VOIP phones).
  • Windows 10 basic O/S usage.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, basic formulas, and creating pivot tables.
  • Familiar with O365 suite apps (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user requests via emails, phone calls
  • Support Global AT&T IDs for users’ access to AT&T portals/apps.
  • Support generating O365 credentials and MFA setup for new hires.
  • Ensure all AT&T and vendor comms. related to software/portals/apps/maintenance, furnished to Congruex, are sent promptly to targeted audiences.
  • Create, manage, and work all ticket requests in the IT ticket management system relating to application support and onboarding newhires.
  • Resolve Tier 1 and low level two IT related issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to IT support team
  • Coordinate and follow-up on all tickets for all levels of support
  • Provide detailed information regarding the solution of all tickets
  • Add resolutions of recurring issues to the IT knowledge base
  • Provide basic networking (Connection Issues) and authentication support (Domain Login or Application Login)
  • Assist users with managing application access, credentials, and occasionally training in usage.
  • Assist with special projects as deemed necessary
