Department The WWE Live Events Marketing, Promotion, and Operations department oversees booking and securing event venues for all of WWE’s weekly live shows and events. This includes selection of event venues, securing the contracts, setting ticket pricing and scaling, and the business operations needed from inception to fruition. This group handles digital work and ad buys and promotion for all of WWE’s live events inclusive of talent. Responsibilities Gain the 360 degree view of WWE live events working across various departments (creative, accounting, legal, digital, production, and more). Learn, observe, and support event venue booking, event planning, ticket pricing, promotion, and production. Verify promotions across event specific digital properties and support the production team for TV and digital spot promos and handle ad hoc reporting. Work directly with Live Event team members to execute all aspects of event marketing logistics. Assist with updating event information in real-time across multiple platforms including social, digital, and internal reporting systems. Manage Live Event reporting and tracking systems, inclusive of data entry/extraction Schedule for the intern is Monday through Friday, generally 10a-6p onsite in Stamford, CT. Qualifications Eagerness to gain insight on the 360 view across live events marketing, promotion, and operations. Ability to work across various departments to support weekly live shows and events. Versatile, flexible, and proactive approach. A critical thinker who is able to assess where to support and offer help. Passionate about WWE content, shows, and talent; proven brand awareness is a must. Expert in working in Excel to assist with ad hoc reporting. Experience working Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office production, Excel is a must. Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator preferred. Program Details We offer internship opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted. In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking . Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location. Important Dates By February 2nd: Internships are posted to our career sites. February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date. March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact candidates and begin the interview process. March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates. May 18th : Program start date.
