ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP – MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY πŸŽ“ Real Engineering Experience: Apply engineering concepts in a real manufacturing environment, contribute to meaningful improvement projects, and gain exposure to advanced processes, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. 🀝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, R&D, and Design Engineering teams to streamline production, improve quality, and support new product launches.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Curious, driven, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor and collaborating with engineers and operators.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to CAD/SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Support time studies, workflow mapping, and tooling updates. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and throughput.
  • Automation & Technology Exploration: Identify opportunities where automation could improve efficiency and assist with early cost-benefit analysis.
  • New Product Integration: Collaborate with R&D and Design Engineering during product transitions and provide manufacturability feedback.
  • Hands-On Manufacturing Experience: Learn build processes, quality checkpoints, and operator workflows; assist with documentation and standard work.
