Intern - Material Program Manager
About The Position
Position Overview: Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Program Management Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Pascagoula facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in STEM, Business, or a related field, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in design, allowing students to develop industry-relevant skills, expand their professional network, and contribute meaningfully to Bollinger’s Supply Chain Management department. Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in STEM, Business, or related field
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating material support with engineering, supply chain management, and production.
- Support the management of BMS and subcontractor deliverables.
- Review anticipated delivery dates for timeliness of subcontractor supply.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain routine records and manage databases, ensuring accurate data input and reporting.
- Assist in preparing reports, research materials, and presentations.
- Shadow multiple office positions and gain experience in a variety of tasks related to material program management and operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental policies, and quality system principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
