About The Position

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the modification and improvement of the AWN (Acid Waste Neutralization) system and facility leak detection system. Support capital projects and sustaining facility operation alongside the facilities and operations team. Collaboration with Equipment and Process Engineer to implement changes and schedule tool down time. Assist with engineering documentation, data analysis, and project tracking related to facility systems upgrade. Prepare and deliver a final presentation and written report summarizing project work and internship outcomes. Assist with reviewing and updating engineering drawings, system documentation, and P&IDs for facility systems.

Requirements

• Education Level Required: Bachelor's, Rising Senior (completed 3 years by start)
• Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in chemistry or chemical process is a plus.
• Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
