As an intern at EVgo, you will gain hands-on experience at a publicly traded company operating in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. EVgo offers exposure to real-world business operations, meaningful projects, and cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven environment focused on accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles. Interns work closely with experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and gain insight into how a high-growth organization operates while contributing to work that has real impact.
You will be working in person at EVgo Headquarters in our lab under our Mechanical Engineer in Hardware Development. You will primarily be focused on assisting with research and development of charging cable cooling infrastructure. This includes piping, heat exchangers, high voltage connectors and cables.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be designing, building and conducting thermal and high current test stages.
• This includes performing testing, analyzing data, and writing reports on findings.
• You will also be assisting in automating and innovating on current test procedures.
