About The Position

This role is an hourly position ($24/hour) and requires the ability to work onsite at our Rapid City, South Dakota location. What you’ll do You'll support the Trust Accounting department by handling asset set-up, cash postings, monthly fee processing, audits, and ad-hoc projects. You'll perform month-end reconciliations of trust accounting systems, ensuring accuracy across diverse assets like equities, loans, real estate, and private businesses. You'll research and execute trustee duties within complex Trust structures, collaborating with Trust Accounting Analysts to analyze transactions. You'll resolve intricate scenarios that arise within Trust structures, applying problem-solving skills to maintain compliance and accuracy. You'll assist Trust Officers with client relationship management (CRM) systems, strengthening client service and operational efficiency. Requirements

  • You must be a current Junior or Senior in college, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Accounting or Finance.
  • You should have a genuine interest in fiduciary accounting and the trust industry.
  • You need strong computer and Excel skills, along with the drive to master trust accounting systems.
  • You will rely on strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • You are expected to demonstrate high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and handle ambiguity while solving problems and setting priorities.
