Requirements

  • No experience necessary.
  • Must be enrolled in college per the Coherent Internship Guidelines.
  • Capable of using Solid Works to design simple fixtures/tooling.
  • Work effectively in a team setting as well as an individual contributor with limited supervision.
  • All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing fixtures/tooling as needed for prototype build
  • Assist senior engineers in performing process development activities in the OSA lab
  • Perform Design of Experiments (DOEs) to determine optimum solutions to manufacturing issues
