These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research. Summer Intern needed for project on 3D printing conductive plastic in a way that will allow us to build a probe.

Responsibilities

• Model probe structures in SolidWorks.
• 3D print probe structures to enable measurements.
• Measure probe structures with multimeter or VNA.
• Experiment with fine geometry 3D printing techniques to identify mechanical limits of various printable materials.
• Document measurement technique and results in Word or PowerPoint.
