About The Position

This internship provides hands-on exposure to health insurance product design and development, with a focus on market-informed innovation, benefit strategy, and AI-enabled decision support. The intern will work closely with senior product leaders across the product lifecycle, supporting early-stage ideation, market analysis, go-to-market planning, and benefit launch activities. The role is designed for students interested in how healthcare products are conceived, evaluated, positioned, and launched.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate Senior OR MBA or Graduate level in business or related field of study.
  • Graduate student (MBA, MHA, MS, or similar) with a healthcare or healthcare business focus preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and research tools.
  • Ability to synthesize complex healthcare, regulatory, and market information.
  • Innovative, curious approach with interest in AI and emerging analytic tools.
  • Collaborative team player with an inquisitive mindset and comfort constructively challenging assumptions.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively while balancing academic commitments.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research or analytics tools
  • Exposure to market research, competitive intelligence, or strategy coursework.
  • Interest in digital twins, scenario modeling, or forecasting concepts.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about healthcare regulation, benefit design, and payer strategy.
  • Prior Exposure to healthcare systems, insurance, or health policy.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Innovation: Assist in brainstorming and developing new product concepts aligned with market needs and organizational goals.
  • Develop Product Training Materials: Work with training and Product teams to develop Sales training materials for market stakeholders
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Collaborate on strategies for product positioning, pricing, and launch readiness.
  • Support New Benefit Launches: Help coordinate activities for introducing new benefits, including internal communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Competitive Intelligence and Market Research: Develop materials to be used in market evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
