About The Position

This internship will support the purchasing team. The Supply Chain Management Intern role offers hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management, and procurement within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will build a comprehensive understanding of the purchasing teams processes, optimize efficiency, and contribute to critical projects. For this hybrid position, the candidate will be equipped with all the necessary technology to facilitate a seamless work experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Enrolled in a supply chain management degree program or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel between all Community Health Network business offices, acute, and ambulatory locations
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional and ethical demeanor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
