And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you. Make a Difference The Respiratory Therapy intern will support the orthopedic department in Kokomo, IN. The intern will develop and complete a summer project tailored to their educational background or career interests. They will assist the Respiratory Care team with reviewing, updating, and organizing SOPs and workflow documents to support departmental efficiency. Throughout the internship, they will participate in educational sessions, shadowing experiences, and interdisciplinary rounds to gain broad exposure to hospital operations and patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year completion of college and currently enrolled at a college or university
  • Ability to work remotely or onsite
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Time-management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional and ethical demeanor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
