About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented high speed optoelectronics design
intern to join our CPO team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will gain
hands-on experience in RF design, simulation, and testing, work alongside
industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our
team and company objectives.

Requirements

• Education Level Required: Bachelor's / Master’s
• Majors: Electrical engineering, computer science, physics
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Internship Duration: 10 – 14 weeks.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in Photonics and semiconductor is a plus.
• Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop CPO SI simulation model.
• Work with Silicon Photonic (PIC) and EIC (including TIA, driver, and micro-controller), substrate, electrical socket suppliers to optimize overall system performance.
• RF design using modeling tools such as CST or HFSS.
• Final presentation to summarize work at the end of the internship.
