Requirements

  • USX offers professional internships for college students
  • Professional (college) internships require enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant discipline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: written and verbal
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Effective organization, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Medical background/experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the department in the performance of duties
  • Performing special projects relevant to Medical Services
  • Inputting data into computer operating systems, filing documents, and distributing information to department members
  • Reviewing DOT documents and reports prepared by staff members
  • Testing department or area processes to ensure controls or methods work as designed
  • Reviewing and evaluating USX processes and methods against educational knowledge and providing recommendations for improvements
  • Occasional travel may be required in some departments
  • Intercalibrate communication between the other departments of medical documentation
