Pratt & Whitney Engine Services is seeking highly motivated intern candidates to work with various areas of the shop to facilitate and document process improvements to our assembly delivery flow. This candidate will spend time watching and documenting assembly processes to be reviewed for potential efficiency driven process changes. This candidate will work with the materials team to help assign parts to build pitches that correlate with the assembly build process. Along with the rest of the project team, this candidate will assist in change management and process rollout with the shop floor employees.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program studying Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong demonstrated ability in PowerBI, Excel Macros, or other relevant systems
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Responsibilities

  • Assist in change management and process rollout with the shop floor employees.
