Intern Technical Support
About The Position
Basic Function Provides technical support to the Pharmaceutical Analysis department within the Integrated Pharmaceutical Solutions unit. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the department's operations. The candidate will work onsite at our Kansas City HQ with the Manager to support the organization, cleanliness and maintenance of the department, and the department’s general operations. Nature and Scope This position reports to the Manager and may receive directions from other staff within the department. This position is expected to work on tasks both independently and as a team member with other technical and administrative staff at all levels. The position works under general supervision and is able to identify and evaluate alternatives and take appropriate courses of action.
Requirements
- Current high school or college student
- Coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
- Knowledge and/or experience in a laboratory environment, basic laboratory and analytical skills, and a solid scientific educational background with laboratory coursework.
- Ability to work onsite at our Kansas City HQ
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work within and meet deadlines, pay attention to detail, and work in a team environment.
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software and systems.
