About The Position

CANYON RIDGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH INTERNSHIP This internship is designed for those who are interested in discovering ministry. Schedule: Beginning the end of May 2026 8-12 weeks Wednesday - Sunday, 28/hours per week Allotted amount of time-off (outside of off days) allowed is one week. Pay Range: $14-15 OUTCOMES: (Immediate/Ongoing) Attend weekly intern development gatherings which will focus on disciple making movement tools and leadership development, including applying the MAWL process in learning and passing on what you learn. (Immediate/Ongoing) Join a predetermined staff team and contribute to the team by using their gifts and skills – willing to try new opportunities and to lead out through the internship experience. (Immediate/Ongoing) Attend weekly team meetings, monthly staff meetings, and weekly one on ones with supervisor. (Immediate/Ongoing) Set goals for internship within the first week and then meet weekly with assigned supervisor to reflect on those goals (During Internship) Identify a project during the internship that is planned, developed, and executed by the end of the internship (During Internship) Regularly commit to being an active part of evaluation and reflection of the ministry area that is assigned. (During Internship) Invite others to help reflect and discern personal and ministry next steps. (End of Internship) Reflect and give feedback on internship experience so that the experience can continue to improve. Participate, collaborate, and assist in executing regular programs or projects in the assigned ministry area. Participate in a weekly development group held on Fridays.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Must have been out of high school for at least one year.
Interest in gaining ministry and vocational experience.
Teachable heart with a growing and contagious relationship with Jesus.
Innovation, creativity, and imagination.
Ability to learn and discover what Jesus might be inviting them into.
Proactive. Sees what needs to be done and takes initiative.
Energetic and willing to be a team player with the ministry and ministry leaders.
Coachable.
Approachable.
Can immediately champion the CRCC culture and values.
Collaborative leader. Works with leaders and teams in other areas.
Willing to experiment and pilot ministry initiatives during their intern time.
