The B. F. Saul Company concentrates on ownership, development, and construction of commercial real estate. The internship will be a 10-week role from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026 supporting the Internal Audit department in several areas, including reviewing and documenting key business processes for Sarbanes Oxley compliance and executing testing for operational audits across the real estate and hotel divisions under the guidance of the Vice President of Internal Audit.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- A current student or recent graduate of an Accounting or Finance program from an accredited college or university preferred
- 3.0 GPA or higher
Responsibilities
- Assist with performing walkthroughs and testing, including the test of design and operating effectiveness for internal controls over financial reporting
- Assist with executing testing per the audit work program for operational audits across divisions and special projects
- Prepare clear, concise work papers that have definitive conclusions and follow documentation standards
- Identify and document audit observations and recommendations for improvement
