As an Internal Communications Consultant, you’ll partner closely with Executives and cross‑functional Teams to craft and execute strategic communication plans that translate complex business strategy into clear, actionable messaging for Employees. You’ll navigate competing priorities, influence outcomes across the organization, and help shape communication strategies for major initiatives. By determining messaging goals, advising on tone and channels, and driving alignment during change and transformation, you’ll help ensure Employees understand not just what is changing, but why it matters. Through thoughtful storytelling, two‑way dialogue, and a deep commitment to Southwest’s culture and values, you’ll strengthen engagement, reinforce key behaviors, and help turn strategy into action—making Internal Communications a true competitive advantage for Southwest Airlines. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours.
