Requirements

Must reside within 50 miles of Hazlehurst, GA for regular onsite collaboration and mill visits.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A true team player mentality.
A genuine enjoyment of travel. You are comfortable navigating different cultures and time zones.
Strong verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between local production and international buyers.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with NHLA grading rules or previous experience in forestry/wood products.

Responsibilities

Act as a key point of contact for global clients, ensuring their orders are accurate and shipments are on schedule.
Manage the details of international documentation, phytosanitary certificates, and export compliance.
Work closely with the mill yard, logistics team, and sales department to ensure a seamless "forest-to-freight" process.
Travel domestically and internationally for up to 15% of your time to visit clients, attend trade shows, and inspect timber sources.
Perform rigorous inspections of hardwood lumber to ensure all international grading standards and customer specifications are met.
