About The Position

Under the direction of the Music Platform Program Manager, the International & Streaming Producer, using skilled production and organizational techniques, organizes and edits Talent content and shows to be used with International and Streaming Platforms. The International and Streaming Producer works independently to daily go through the content from each of our K-LOVE on air shows, reviewing, editing, and organizing content for use on other Ministry platforms and streaming stations. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of audio production experience, preferably within the broadcast media industry.
  • Hands on experience using Adobe Audition, RSC Zetta and other software programs as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and produce high quality audio content.
  • Demonstrated ability to carefully listen to content and identify audio that is dated and/or irrelevant for other platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to keep pace in a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to and review all of the content from each of our K-LOVE shows each day, finding those pieces that can be reused on International stations, as well as on different Streaming station efforts
  • Edit the content breaks from the talent when necessary, removing specific song information so that it is more universal and can easily be placed on other stations within our Ministry using our radio automation software.
  • Import and schedule the content on the stations that will be using it, ensuring that each hour has the content necessary for a full broadcast.
  • Organize the content as it is used so that the “best of” content can be reused when needed in the future.
  • Review classic 20:The Countdown Magazine episodes and edit when necessary, and import them into Zetta for airplay on streaming radio stations like K-LOVE Eras.
  • Work with the Music Platform Program Manager to ensure everything is being scheduled and played as it should and to conceptualize other ways to use content to improve our streaming radio stations
  • Work with the Music Platform Program Manager to develop good organizational systems for all the content that is being used.
  • Utilize Adobe Audition for editing content.
  • Utilize our radio automation software for programming, scheduling, and lining up content with songs.
  • Maintain professional competency, knowledge, and skills necessary to effectively perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training. Specifically, stay “current” and informed with audio trends.
  • Maintain courteous, positive, and efficient interaction between programming, talent and production departments as well as Ministry partners.
