INTERNSHIP - BIOVIA Quality Software Engineer

About the position

As a Software Quality Engineer Intern with BIOVIA R&D Quality team you will work with leading edge automation tools inside of our enterprise environment with our cloud-first approach to reduce our turnaround time for software validation tests, enabling greater value delivery to customers. We will mentor you in real-world life science software development and multi-threaded distributed software test automation tools. The BIOVIA R&D Quality team works closely with the Development team to plan, test, and release world-class cloud and on-premise software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Improve the automation of our release and deployment process towards the goal of Continuous Delivery across the BIOVIA product suite
• Communicate and collaborate among cross-functional teams in a multinational environment
• Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a program at a college or university for the duration of the internship
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
• Ability to shift directions quickly when priorities change
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work onsite for the duration of the internship
• Understanding of the software development process
• Experience with Java or Groovy
• Windows or Linux operating system administration a plus
• Willingness to learn new technology products to support the job
