About The Position

Ready to dive into the heart of the beauty industry? As a Merchandise Planning Intern at Kendo, you'll gain an end-to-end understanding of merchandise planning across all Fenty brands and North American retailers. This is your opportunity to make a real impact, contributing to vital business strategies and organizational goals. In addition, you will be responsible for leading an individual project that will be presented to Senior Leadership at the end of the summer.

Requirements

  • Rising junior, senior, or Class of 2026 graduate majoring in Retail Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, with basic formula and pivot table knowledge).

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Impact: Assist in analyzing and forecasting sales demand, directly supporting brand strategy for Fenty.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with merchandise planning, sales, global planning, supply planning, and demand planning teams.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Help with bottom-up and top-down forecasting, historical sales analysis, and market trend evaluation to optimize plans for new product launches and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Project Ownership: Lead a process improvement project, culminating in a presentation at summer's end. You may also focus on a specific Fenty brand and retailer.
  • Active Participation: Engage in key meetings across North America sales, supply and demand planning, finance, and global brand and planning.
  • Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Execute projects supporting team objectives and brand initiatives.
