Your Assignment In this role, you will be working with the R&D Finance team and engineering teams engaged in the development of our leading edge EUV technology that supports the latest semiconductor production capabilities. Using our core values of challenge, collaborate and care, you will work on several key projects to help drive the new R&D organization. You will work with the local finance team members and our global finance teams to support processes and tools necessary to support the R&D organization. Support daily finance operations for the San Diego R&D organization while developing a strong understanding of local R&D, finance, and PMO processes. Provide full FP&A support, including financial close activities, project reporting, and performance analysis for R&D functions. Prepare data, models, and analysis to support the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning cycles. Build and enhance reporting, dashboards, and visualizations to improve financial transparency and support project manager decision‑making. Analyze capital investments and ROI and contribute to improving evaluation processes and long‑term financial assessment. Conduct data analysis on prototype returns and material costs to improve forecasting accuracy and cost visibility. Identify and recommend cost‑savings, profitability improvements, and financial optimization opportunities for leadership. Develop and maintain financial databases, models, and processes, supporting special studies, metrics development, and month/year‑end close activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, MBA, or a related field.
  • Proficient with Excel and comfortable working with data and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrates leadership experience through academics, work, or extracurricular activities.
  • A strong bias for action with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Advanced analytical and systems skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Ability to build effective, collaborative working relationships across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in fast‑changing or ambiguous environments.
