Baldwin Richardson Foods has manufacturing locations in Macedon, NY and Williamson, NY; Corporate Offices in Oakbrook Terrace, IL and Food Innovation Center Westmont, IL. The Supply Chain Intern will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, and supplier management. The Intern will be assigned business improvement based projects, and have the opportunity to present recommendations to the team on improvements that can be made. The role will be heavily involved with data analytics and reporting. This role is in our Macedon, NY headquarters.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or Finance.
Minimum of completion of two years of program (must be going into 3rd or 4th year).
Solid educational understanding of data collection and analysis processes with a drive to focus on analytics and determining trends and business recommendations.
Intermediate data analysis skills in MS Office Excel.
Excellent project management, organizational, and follow-through skill sets.
Ability to work autonomously, as questions and seek information.
Strong oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations.
Due to SQF regulations, fluency in written and verbal, in the English language

Nice To Haves

Experience with Minitab statistical software and SAP ERP a plus.

Responsibilities

Project related to data collection and analysis within our supply chain function
Inventory data collection and analysis to identify opportunity to reduce
Warehouse capacity estimating as an input to production planning
ERP master data consolidation and clean up
Raw Materials safety stock calculations and updates
Raw Materials master data evaluation
Vendor data management
Analysis and expansion of Sales and Operating Plan (S&OP) standard reporting for our customers
Assist in other ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis
