About The Position

Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program: Applications Close: March 13 th , 2026, at 11:55PM ET. Submit your application as soon as possible – don’t delay! Fall 2026 Program Dates: Approximately September 2026 – December 2026 JOB SUMMARY : Intern will provide estimating support for the Estimating department, including putting together analysis for estimating comparisons, budget comparisons, and other comparisons as required. Intern will assist in comparing bids to estimates and budget information.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
  • Aptitude with numbers and spreadsheets; high proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to present in front of others required.
  • Ability to read blueprint drawings and on-screen quantity survey program preferred.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews project plans and specifications.
  • Conducts quantity surveys, develop cost estimates.
  • Reviews 3rd party construction cost estimates.
  • Attends applicable meetings.
  • Helps track historical costs.
  • Provides quantity survey information and area analysis for the estimating team.
  • Analyzes cost data, estimates, and bids.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
