The organization is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pain Management Physician to join its expanding clinical team in Houston, TX . Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Neurology .
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, an ACGME-accredited Pain Management Fellowship .
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience in outpatient or interventional pain management is preferred, though new fellowship graduates are welcome to apply .
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform interventional pain procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint blocks, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials (as credentialed).
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate interventional procedures, medication management, and rehabilitative therapies.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that may include physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, and primary care physicians.
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain compliance with established clinical standards and best practices.
