Interventional Radiologist Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Grass Valley, CA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Apr 27, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Shifts needed to be filled: - Apr 27 - May 1 - May 25 -29 - Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8a -430p Call Schedule: Nights & weekends Patient Volume: 85 -90 (ED); 50 (IP/Obs/ICU) - CTs: 12 -15 - X -rays: 15 -20 - US: 8 -12 - IR: 4 -6 procedures Admissions: 12 -15 Case Mix: Surgical, Medical, ICU & OB Support Staff: - Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses & Techs Required Procedures: - Lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams w/ drains & CT/US biopsies preferred. - IR (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra -abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Others) EMR: Cerner Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC/BE
- Fellowship
- DEA
- BLS
- CA Fluoroscopy
- Must have the required skills
- Self -Query NPDB report (extracted in the last 30 days)
Nice To Haves
- Lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams w/ drains & CT/US biopsies preferred.
- IR (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra -abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Others)
